Jack & Mummy Long Legs!
Jack had changed so much since I photographed a quite little thing a few months ago – now he just couldn’t stop smiling. And just look at his mum’s fabulous long legs! Quite sickening when you’re somewhat vertically challenged like me.
Zoe-Louise eats gerbera!
I gave Zoe-Louise a gerbera (yes, the flower gerbera, it has nothing to do with gerbils!) thinking she would pose prettily with it, but no she destroyed it in 10 seconds! This was Zoe’s second sitting and where she was aloost crawling at teh first one at 3 months, she is now just about walking at 9 months. There’ll be no stopping this girl!
Their little village church at Fimber on the Yorkshire Wolds was the setting for Tricia and Steven’s wedding followed by a super reception at the elegant Tickton Grange in Beverley. Though it was sunshine and showers nothing could dim the smile of the lovely Tricia as she married her hansome groom Steve.
Hayley & Sam: Hemingbrough Church
Though a wonderful day for Sam and Hayley there were perhaps a few more tears than usual. This was very much the beginning of a new life for them as shortly after their wedding they would be departing for Australia. We wish them every success for the future but our hearts go out to their lovely familes.
Claire & Christoph were married in the beautiful and historic Bar Convent in York. They had arranged for a double-decker bus to then transport their guests through York to The Merchant Taylors Hall for drinks & canapes on the lawn before a wonderful wedding breakfast in the 15th century hall. One of the highlights for me was the opportunity of photographing the groom and his ushers in the “Abbey Road” style by pressing the button for the lights and dashing out into the middle of the road! Got a few shouts from impatient motorists but it was worth it. It was a joy to work with Chris and his beautiful bride.

It was such a delight photographing Sacha, especially listening to his father speaking to him “en francais”.

Lily was just a little star and so good through the whole session.
